Julien Guillaumin, DACVECC

Dr. Guillaumin has over 20 years of experience in Emergency and Critical Care. After graduating from the National Veterinary School of Nantes, France, Dr Guillaumin pursued a small animal rotating internship at the National Veterinary School of Alfort, near Paris, France. After graduation, he worked in both private practice emergency settings and academia for several years before moving to the US in the early 2000s. Dr Guillaumin completed his advanced training in Emergency and Critical Care with an ACVECC residency at the University of California, Davis.

After his residency, Dr Guillaumin worked mostly in academia, first at Ohio State University, and more recently at Colorado State University. His clinical and research interests include point-of-care ultrasound, hemostasis, especially thrombosis and thrombolysis, and sepsis and septic shock.
